Since I left the Ann Arbor News in 2009, I've branched out on my own as an editor and small business/non-profit Web designer and content writer.I've designed Web sites for a state of Michigan prisoner re-entry program, a start-up solar energy company, and a Boy Scout troop. I've designed and written a quarterly newsletter for an auto repair shop. I've even edited a proposal for a new college curriculum. But mainly I've edited regular online and hard-copy newsletters for a western-Michigan information technology firm, and interviewed a firm partner and ghost-written monthly columns for him that appear in a regional business magazine. The editing comprises re-working raw copy from IT consultants who design IT systems into more accessible reading for the firm's clients and potential clients. Both tasks sometimes require online research.C/D/H Business Review interviews/columns:Is your boss a loser?Bring your computer to workIT forecast: Cloudy, and that's a good thingiPad can revolutionize your workplaceC/D/H Technology Report articlesNovell deal: The driver's seat is crowdedLinks to latest TR articlesC/D/H Knowledge Transfer articlesSpecial Novell-deal editionNovember 2010 edition
